Silent Treatment

Silent Treatment

$ 9.89
Silent Treatment is the third studio album from Tucson, AZ's The Bled. This time the band moved up to Baltimore, MD to work with producer extraordinaire Brian McTernan (Thrice, Circa Survive, From Autumn To Ashes). Having more time to write and record than albums past, the band really took advantage and have delivered one of the most fiery, brutal records of the year. The band's previous effort, 2005's Found in the Flood, saw the band expanding their sound and pushing the envelope. Silent Treatment is more of a retreat back to their earlier recordings, which featured stripped-down, raw energy and massive riffage. Despite that, the band also found ways to use some of their experimental edge to create some of the most unique songs found in heavy music today.

"The songs talk about some of the fear and pain you go through when you're trying to change things for the better," says Talley. "The title reflects what we all have gone through as we've cut ties to situations in our lives that weren't positive." "The pure, raw heaviness that we like to write and that we love to play onstage came out on this record. I feel like we found our own definable style of writing on this record." "The songs talk about some of the fear and pain you go through when you're trying to change things for the better," - Jeremy Talley (guitar).
